Day 1: Arrival in Paro & Thimphu Exploration

Day 2: Unveiling Bhutan’s Treasures
- After breakfast, visit the majestic Kuenselphodrang Buddha Dordenma, a giant Buddha statue overlooking the city.
- Capture breathtaking panoramic views from Sangaygang viewpoint.
- Explore the fascinating Motithang Takin Preserve, home to the unique national animal, the takin.

Day 3: Journey to Punakha & Wangdue
- After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,088 meters).
- Witness the panoramic Himalayan vista adorned with 108 chortens (stupas) at Dochula Pass.
- Catch a glimpse of the majestic Wangdue Phodrang Dzong from the roadside.
- Visit the charming Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple with a unique history.
- Arrive in Punakha and settle into your comfortable accommodation. (Overnight in Punakha)
Day 4: River Rafting in Punakha Valley
- Morning:
- Depart from Thimphu (or your hotel in Punakha).
- Embark on a scenic hike through villages, crossing a suspension bridge, and climbing a ridge for breathtaking views of the Pho Chhu River.
- Receive a safety briefing and get fitted with rafting gear.
- Afternoon:
- Experience an exhilarating rafting adventure on the Pho Chhu River.
- Navigate thrilling Class II and IV rapids.
- Witness the majestic Punakha Dzong standing tall along the river.
- Observe the daily life of locals in riverside villages.
- Raft under Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge, taking in panoramic vistas.
- Arrive at the River Confluence, marking the end of the rafting trip.
- Evening:
- Check in to your hotel in Punakha and enjoy some relaxation time. (Optional: Explore Punakha town or Dzong)
- Overnight:
- Stay overnight at a comfortable hotel in Punakha.
Day 5: Unveiling History & Paro Bound
- After breakfast, travel back to Paro via Dochula Pass.
- En route, stop at Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest fortresses.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at your hotel in Paro.
- Visit the National Museum housed in the historic Ta Dzong watchtower.
- Take a stroll down to the majestic Rinpung Dzong, “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.” (Overnight in Paro)
Day 6: Hike to the Tiger’s Nest (Optional)
- Choose an adventurous hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. (Approx. 5 hours round trip)
Day 7: Farewell from Bhutan
- Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the hotel.
- Our representative will escort you to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
